Wow, Ann Coulter is getting it from all fronts, first Bill O’Reilly, then the Early  Show and Today.  And now she appears with ladies of The View, who are little upset over her take on single moms, and Coulter comes off crazy yet again. Even Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd, who are usually pretty goofy look sane and grounded compared to the flustered, frustrated Coulter who insults Whoopi’s age and gets snotty with Barbara, prompting Sherri to say she didn’t appreciate the way Ann was speaking to Barbara.

Oh, and Coulter says single motherhood and illegitimacy are 

a specific plan by the left.

Someone needs to tell Coulter it’s time to take off the tin foil hat and get  some hair styling, she’s no Paris Hilton and her blond mane looks more silly than silky.  And once again she brings out the complicated theory the victims are really victimizing others, and the real victims aren’t the victims but are victimized by the victims who aren’t really victims but perpetrators.  Pass the laudanum. To her. Bottom line, what Whoopi sez:

You can dish it out, but you can’t take it.

She is just so forced, trying so hard, and failing so badly. She’s canned and hackneyed. And sadly, she reminds me of Kim Novak at the end of Jeanne Eagels: After climbing to the heights, she’ll end up back in the carnival, dancing between the trained seals–or in this case doing her stand up  schtick at Young Republicans’ dinner dances on the rubber chicken circuit.

Wow, Ann Coulter…wow.  She said that millions of illegimate children born every year mug Americans! Oh noez, gangs of diaper wearing, gun totting toddlers lurking near ATM machines…That’s it–I’m staying in my chilly garret (aka the ivory tower/Mom’s basement/king sized feather bed with 400 thread count organic cotton sheets) until this problem of pre-school muggers–who Ann claims are victims–is solved.

This morning on the Early Show, the conservative pin-up was shrilly shilling her new collection of  hostile inaccuracies, Guilty: The Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America, when host Harry Smith pwnd her:

Here’s my problem because you try to be funny, but you have this sort of sophomoric, simplistic kind of view of so many things things, the points that should be taken seriously–this whole section on single motherhood should be part of the American conversation right now–because you’re so goofy whose going to take you seriously?

Key word: Try.

The uncharmingly goofy Coulter then manically focused on some line in her book refering to Ted Kennedy and CBS news anchors, then hyber-jabbered about the protesters at Democratic convention and statistics, then back to Teddy Kennnedy and…and…her brilliant quote in her new book…and…and…just wouldn’t stop her off rambling rant despite Harry telling her to

Take a breath..take a breath…take a breath…take breath

 While Coulter says her book is

basically about how victimhood is rewarded and everyone wants to be a victim. It’s about the rewards and praise you get for being a victim and the way liberals use victimhood and they oppress others

 Smith pointed out 

You talk about victims and victimhood in America, which I think is a serious problem, on the other hand, the more I listen to your complaints, the more I kept thinking well,
"You’re the whiner, you’re the one whose claiming victim hood here, that you’re the victim of this great left wing conspiracy."

Faux-coltish Coulter had a comeback:

By playing victim real victim are created. You have millions of unborn babies they are real victims.

And there are other victims, says Ann, like the

Million of illegitmate children born every year, the people who are mugged by the millions of illegimate children born every year. They are genuine victims. 

Yes. It’s all part of what Ann sees as

the perpetual motion machine of the liberal victimization machine

where the oppressors are the victims and the victims the oppressors and there are real victims who are victims of the fake victims who are really the oppressors by acting like victims–wait wut?
