Its not about encouraging people to get married, that just contributes to the divorce rate. It’s about preventing unwanted pregnancies. In addition to leading the nation in working people without health insurance, Texas leads the nation in SECOND teenage pregnancies.

So let me get this straight . . .
Mary Matalin says forget about gay people getting married, the real problem is straight people aren’t getting married, and as a result more and more children are born out of wedlock.

Then your solution is to fully fund Planned Parenthood with tax dollars.

How does giving tax dollars to Planned Parenthood encourage straight people to get married???

Maybe a better solution would be to have tax dollars fund weddings!

Teddy, we are well aware of how we look to the rest of the world. We’d been hidin’ down her pretty good until our lame-brained governor decided to go out show everybody just how stoopid we CAN be.

Fact is, those ignorant republicans and pro-lifers NEVER look far enough into an issue and frequently miss the forrest for the trees.

IN all honestly most of us don;t so much wish to secede, as we hope you guys won’t kick us out. We ARE working on the problem. It’s just aht it’s a BIG problem.

Regarding the Alamo. . . Have you ever seen it?

In a picture one gets the impression it’s a lot larger than it really is. Most pictures of the Alamo don’t include surrounding structures, so there is little reference for the brain to adjust to.

I first saw it in 1970 when stationed in San Antionio in the Air Force, and was shocked how small the place really is. I think the mind is predisposed to a massive structure mindful of the military battle which took place there.
