Irish singer/songwriter/punk icon Gavin Friday had a dream to play Carnegie Hall before he turned 5o, and so joined by some close friends–including U2, Lydia Lunch, SNL’s Fred Armisen, Antony, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Scarlett Johansson, Shane McGowan, Flo & Eddie, Martha Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, Lady GaGa, Chloe Webb, and Courtney Love–he did so to benefit (Red), the anti-AIDS organization and the Global Fund for Africa.
