Obama, Race and Anti-American Ideas
Former president Jimmy Carter is from the South where is there a subtle language of racism, so he sorta knows what he was talking about when he said:
I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man.
Obama himself weighed in Friday with a different opinion, telling ABC
I think that race is such a volatile issue in this society, always has been, that it becomes hard for people to separate out race being sort of a part of the backdrop of American society, versus race being a predominant factor in any given debate. Are there some people who vote for me only because of my race? They’re probably some of those, too.
And on CNN, the President discussed race and other issues exploding in America:
Are there people out there who don’t like me because of race? I’m sure there are. That’s not the overriding issue here. I think there are people who are anti-government. I think there’s been a long-standing debate in this country that is usually that much more fierce during times of transition or when presidents are trying to bring about big changes.
Yeah–there are some pretty anti-government folks out there: People who think Obama is lying foreign-born Nazi socialist, people who bring guns to townhall meetings and freak out over the spectors of FEMA camps, crazed conspiracy theorists whose far left and far right fantasies meet on the edge of the flat earth.

The main difference between conservatives in government (and I am not referring exclusively to Republicans) and conservative voters is the former know they are corp tools and the latter do not.
