Ex-Rep Mark Foley to Explore his Mind on Radio Show

Ex-Rep Mark Foley, the former chair of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children who was forced to resign when it was revealed that he was sending smutty email messages to underage Capitol Hill page now has his own radio show on WSVU out of North Palm Beach, Fla which plays Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow and Barbra Streisand–a format called adult standards. Foley worked in in real estate after stepping down from his seat in 2006 at which point he officially came out as gay.

According to WSVU’s press release,

Foley will give a real Washington D.C. insiders view into the healthcare issue as well as the inner workings of how public policy is made in Washington D.C., along wiht discussing politicals news and issues.

Activist Lane Hudson who broke the Foley email story while working at the Human Rights Campaign had this to say to us about "Inside the Mind of Mark Foley":

When sharing what is inside his mind, I hope Mark Foley will address the very important issues of living a closeted life as a gay man, the societal pressures that compel it, the deeply personal fears about living openly, and how the difficulty of suppressing your sexuality affects your ability to make good decisions for yourself.  Given his personal story, he can speak to these issues in a very unique way and possibly help a wide audience better understand the need for society to be accepting of LGBT people.

"Inside the Mind of Mark Foley" will begin airing September 22 and can be heard online at www.seaviewam960.com.
