Palin Failing at Showing Up–Again!

picture-22.png

Sarah Palin rhymes with failing. The former Alaska gov, stepped down midway through her first term, explaining

I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint.

Maybe  "less government intervention" is why she is bailing (rhymes with Palin) on an event sponsored by the Alaska Family Council promoting an Alaska ballot measure which would make it illegal for teens to get an abortion without telling their parents, since that’s the government interfering in the relationship between teenagers and their parents by forcing teens to reveal private information.

The Anchorage Daily New reminds us that this

would be at least the fourth time in recent months that an anticipated Palin speech has fallen through after Palin and her camp disputed they had ever confirmed it. That includes the brouhaha over whether she’d speak at the annual congressional Republican fundraising dinner in Washington, D.C., this summer.

Palin’s spokeswoman Meg Stapleton said Wednesday, in response to inquiries from the Daily News about the anti-choice event, that

this is the first we have ever heard of a speech

adding that Palin is out of state and won’t be there.

But Alaska Family Council President Jim Minnery said that he’d been speaking with Palin "contacts" for weeks about the event at ChangePoint, the Anchorage megachurch where new Governor Sean Parnell is a member, where Palin is advertised to speak and be the first name on the ballot measure petition. Minnery told the ADN:

All we can do is take people at their word that we’ve worked with in the past.  We’ve been working for several weeks on the event, promoting it very heavily. It would be a grave disappointment if she doesn’t show up but the show will still go on.

So wait, is there some mook in mukluks and a mooseskin trench coat skulking around Alaska claiming to represent Sarah Palin and duping conservative groups into believing that the former governor would love to show up at their events, maybe in exchange for a well-greased palm?  Or maybe Palin is trying to create an image of an elusive and fascinating doe. Or maybe she just can’t cope.

Whatever the reason, it looks really bad for her future in politics. She looks super flaky, and it make you wonder if she’d show up for rallies or blow off debates.

Sarah better watch out. Word gets around, and nobody gets to be president if they can’t get anyone to trust them to show up for public appearances.

By the way, what’s she doing for money now that she’s not pretending to govern?

Sarah has been missing allot of appointments at some point people are going to wonder just what is she doing? Alky’s and drug addicts miss lots of job related meetings people are going to start wondering.
That and the confused speech the paranoid rantings about death panels one might wonder if Sarah is doing meth.

While “it would be irresponsible NOT to speculate,” Sarah needs no substances to be who she is.

This is a black woman. Why should Sarah keep her word?
