First Grandpa’s Grave is Part of Desecrated Cemetery

Michelle Obama’s father is buried in the historic black Burr Oak cemetery near Chicago, where over 300 bodies have been displaced and the plots resold.
It doesn’t seem that the grave of Fraser Robinson III is one of the double-dipped plots. Mrs. Obama’s communications director Camille Johnston issued the following statement in an e-mail to NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago:
I can confirm the First Lady’s father is buried at Burr Oak cemetery. We will have no additional comment on the matter.
Johnston told the Chicago Tribune, which first reported the story, that:
there is no indication that Fraser Robinson III’s grave was among those disturbed. She did not comment further.
Updates from your link indicate that Mr Robinson was not, in fact, interred at Burr Oak.
It’s still an outrage and a tragedy, though.
