Palin: “It’d Be Nice to Have All that Money” per Levi Johnston

sarah_palin_makeup.thumbnail.jpgLevi Johnston’s postion as a former Palin insider–after all he is the father of Sarah Palin’s only grandchild–was reason enough for his lawyer Rex Butler to hold a press round table so  Levi could give his impressions of Palin’s resignation as governor. Oh and Levi is still shopping a book deal and looking at acting gigs while living with his mom Gram Sherry and getting his GED.

According to the Anchorage Daily News, Levi said:

that Palin had at times made comments, like when she was cooking dinner, to the effect that "it would be nice to have all that money."

Johnston said he believes Palin had other reasons for the decision, including a desire for more family time.

"I’ve seen how stressful this job was for her and she came home late at night and things like that," Johnston said.

He painted a picture of a family constantly receiving offers, even the young children.

Johnston said he believes Palin was talking about "books, talk shows, whatever, things like that" when she discussed taking the money, and that the big deal was the book.

In the past Sarah Palin has disputed Johnston’s view of events:

I know the truth about my family. I know details about whether Levi Johnston was allowed to live with my teenage daughter or not. By the way, it would be over my dead body that a kid would live with my teenage daughter.

Okay whatever, ExGovGILF. Kudos for the nice zinger from your spokesperson on Levi’s stripping away some of your veneer:

It is interesting to learn Levi is working on a piece of fiction while honing his acting skills.

And he won;t be voting for Palin either, because, as the astute Levi points out, if she was that stressed out as governor of Alaska, how could she handle a job like Vice President or President?

Think Sarah’s upset about her ex-future son in law? Way! No way! This just keeps her in the news for a few more cycles. So, when’s that first big bucks speaking gig gonna come in? 3-2-1…

I would totally sign Piper to a book deal.

And we’ve already seen that Palin will do anything to stay in the news for a few more cycles…even resign.
