David Arquette, Snickers in Box for Hunger
Next Tuesday and Wednesday actor David Arquette will stay in a Plexiglass box over the Madison Square Garden marquee for eight hours a day, hoping to raise $250,000 for Feeding America. The event is sponsored by the Mars, the manufacturer of Snickers bars.
Arquette will be eating regular meals in the box. Donation can be made on facebook or via text messages, though frankly I can’t find the donations link on the FB page. And one FB user makes a good point:
I joined this group so I could ask this question. David will be sleeping in a box to raise money for the hunger but he’s going to eat while in there? Doesn’t make any sense to me. Why not eat for just 2 days?
