Want a Jackson Ticket?
A lucky Michael Jackson memorial/funeral ticket winner put a one ticket up on eBay. Before the auction site yanked it, the ticket and wristband wer going for $19,599.00. The seller is only taking cash or a cashier’s check. I talked to the seller who said that s/he’s gotten offers up to $30,000 and feels that anyone who really wants to go that badly, with .5%of chance to go, should get the benefit of being able to able to attend, while s/he’ll get a nice vacation from the proceeds.
Thing is, any cash withdrawal from a bank over $10,000 has to be reported to the IRS. Lots of forms, lots of paperwork. But, then again this is LA and some people have a lot of cash on hand.
And no, the seller won’t be donating a portion of the proceeds to help offset the city’s cost.
I have access to one (1) valid ticket and one (1) valid wristband to the Michael Jackson Memorial on Tuesday July 7, 2009.
The ticket and wristband give one person access to the event at either the Staples Center or Nokia Center. The exact seat number, location and further details will be available when I pick up the tickets from Dodger Stadium this afternoon.
This is the real deal. Best offer will be accepted. CASH OR CASHIER’S CHECK ONLY, in person. PICK-UP ONLY in West LA/ Beverly Hills.

What a circus this is. Did you see the Michael Jackson in the Tree Stump?
And then there’s the Ghost of Michael at Neverland. There’s a couple versions, this one doesn’t have the added sound effects.
One could only imagine what would be on the Web if it had been around when Elvis passed away.
And interesting the memorial service is on an eclipse day.
