I’ve a reoccurring nightmare the past couple days.

It’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 2010 and Sarah Palin–who’s been working tirelessly giving a full court press to fund raising for the GOP, various conservative causes and think tanks–holds a press conference in front of the Mall of America:

Hi America, I’m speakin’ directly to the people I serve, as person who loves our great country and its traditional, all-American values. People who know me know that besides faith and family, nothing’s more important to me than our beloved Republican Party and thus our country and the traditional, conservative values that make us great. Serving the people through fund raising for my party is the greatest honor I could imagine.

If I have learned one thing: LIFE is about choices!

And one chooses how to react to circumstances. You can choose to engage in things that tear down, or build up. I choose to work very hard on a path for fruitfulness and productivity. Life is too short to compromise time and resources…

Productive, fulfilled people determine where to put their efforts, choosing to wisely utilize precious time… to BUILD UP.  In this case to build up support against the liberal attitudes and politicians who are destroying our country.

And there is such a need to BUILD up and FIGHT for our party and our country. I choose to FIGHT for it! And I’ve worked hard for others who still believe in free enterprise and smaller government; strong national security for our country and support for our troops; energy independence; and for those who will protect freedom and equality and LIFE… I’ve work for and campaign for those PROUD to be American, and those who are INSPIRED by our ideals and won’t deride them and I have raised millions of dollars and even more more importantly millions of hopes of everyday, working people who are sick of big government spending and corrupt values.

I HAVE and WILL support others who seek to serve, in or out of office, for the RIGHT reasons. I have tirelessly traveled around the states, all over the Lower 48, overseas on international trade, all the while spreading truth, justice and the American Way while raising a war chest to keep our great country safe from godless bloggers, witches, liberals and evolutionists, from those who would take away our rights to guns and the energy God gave us in rich resources like natural gas and oil and wild animals to hunt with semi-automatic weapons for fresh clean protein.

And so the other day the good folks at the RNC spoke to me about once again seeking office, the highest office, the office of the President of these great United States of America. And I said, "I need to think about this, I need to pray about this."

This decision comes after much consideration, and finally polling the most important people in my life – my children, where the count was unanimous as well, in response to asking: "Want me to make a positive difference and fight for ALL our childrens future from INSIDE the President’s office?"

It was four "yes’s" and one "hell yeah!" The "hell yeah" sealed it – and someday I’ll talk about the details of that, but those were in fact Trigg’s first words. Oh that Trigg,  we knew that even though mean spirited adults will mock him, the world needs Trigg right next to me in the Oval Office.

I do not want to upset anyone with my decision except the Democrats; all I can ask is that you TRUST me with this decision – because it’s no more "politics as usual."
