If it hadn’t been 4th of July there wouldn’t have been as many. La Canada is mostly red. These guys are the country club set, not so much the NASCAR set.

As an advocate for single payer, I know that “left out” feeling. But, since we have no hope nor desire for, royal approval, we can do whatever we wish to advance our cause. This has included attending OFA meetings and talking up single payer, much to the chagrin of OFA organizers, who are watching the network come unglued as the most liberal (and most active) members become disenchanted or just plain disgusted, and members become interested in single-payer. The expectations of robotic behavior (knock on doors and ask people if they endorse Barack Obama’s 3 principles) is ludicrous, especially since the proposals being seriously considered cannot deliver on those stated principles, especially cost control.

I have the feeling that Obama is totally lost in the maze. He should be applauding the organizations pushing for public option, not castigating them. And, what help does he expect from the likes of Landrieu?

There will be a rally/lobbying effort in D.C. on July 30th, for Medicare’s birthday. This one is strictly single-payer. Everyone so inclined is invited and will be welcomed - Everybody In, Nobody Out.

And screw the Repubs passing as Democrats. Enough already!

wheat is a federally subsidized crop, right ???

and the beef was raised on federal land rented at rock bottom prices

the trucks that transported the wheat and beef traveled on federally built roads, and were protected from theft by taxpayer supported police departments

shall I go on ???

At one point, a speaker talked about the power of the vote and how We The People recalled California’s governor and put a conservative in power

so now they’re taking credit for the gropenator ???

I thought the people like arnuld and george who fail conservatism were closet liberals

good to see the repuglicdons adopting a furriner though

figured that it would be a white furriner

It was quite fete. I will be posting another video later I think I got a slight case of tea bag ptomaine from the highly taxed bun and meat. Or maybe it was the speeches.

In this video the two dudes discuss Palin. It is um tragic. But they talked to us because they liked our supply-side melons and were hoping we were conservative in every way but horizontal. They invited us to a Tea Bag Tailgate today to the Rose Bowl. Hot? Not.

Remember….Clinton was to blame for his 8 years, George Bush is not to blame for his 8 years, Clinton is to blame for Bush’s 8 years, and President Obama is to blame for George Bush’s 8 years along with his 4-8 years. Are we clear? LOL

Lisa, thanks for attending that little shindig so I didn’t have to. And writing about it of course.

I was gonna listen to the video, but the picture showing the guy wearing the Cheney T shirt scared me off. I cannot take even the slightest mention of those two jerks, bushcheney, and I run if I think someone is going to bring them up for whatever reason.

Other than that I hope you had a good holiday otherwise

Someone should ask the anti-taxers why the Decider’s tax cuts produced the economy he delivered to Obama on Jan 20, 2009. The answer will probably be to blame the “Democrat Congress”. Too bad the Decider never got the hang of that whole veto power thing.

Whatever the answer, it’s never the responsibility of any Republics.
