Kiss of Fail Palin Gets Un-vite, Sulks, Pouts, Prevails. Sorta.

Palin dinner: Fish–Or chicken?

When Sarah Palin dropped the puck at hockey games during the the 2008 campaign, the home teams lost. This weekend Rudy Guiliano invited her to a Yankee’s game. They lost. So what the freak were the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee thinking when they invited Kiss of Fail Palin to deliver the keynote address at their annual fundraising dinner?

Palin, perhaps knowing that her presence is curse not a blessing, backed out of fundraiser–or maybe it’s because she really is afraid of "overexposure." Whatever, she said she couldn’t make it. Which is lots more polite than the times before when she said yes (GOP Representatives’ Retreat, CPAC) and then backed out.A nd lots nicer that suddenly deciding to show up at a Memorial Day event in a mini skirt and demanding to speak, though she had never RSVP’ed.

Oh, wait. That’s kinda what she did. According to the Hill

Sen. John Cornyn, head of the NRSC, grew nervous about Palin’s staff’s unwillingness to commit the governor to attending. As the time to print invitations approached, the two committees turned instead to a new keynoter, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich

But then Palin, the Media Whore of Babble-On, had a change of heart and

her advisers approached organizers saying she would be near Washington and would like to come.

And speak.  But such was not to be. Well she could have a place at a table and get a shout out, but NRCC head Rep. Pete Sessions

didn’t want the former Speaker [Newt] overshadowed by someone who had not helped raise the millions the dinner is expected to pull in. Sessions said Palin could be introduced, but would not be allowed to speak. Palin’s team was offended that she was not given the chance to speak and said they would not send the governor to the dinner, even though she is in Washington on Monday.

And of course, Palin’s spokeholes made sure word of the internecine spat was leaked, because their job is to make sure Gov GILF always looks like a wounded bird who is wronged, but never wrong.

This topic needs to be expanded is Sarah bad luck? Or are Hockey teams a bunch of LEFTIES?
Also maybe the Lake should start betting against Sarah’s sports teams?

Well she certainly proved her luck for McCain.

And of course, Palin’s spokeholes made sure word of the intercine spat was leaked,…

which leak was slightly delayed, because a good spat speech is hard to find (and then plagiarize).

She’s like a drama queen. Wherever she goes, there’s a problem.

What Palin doesn’t understand is she is popular with the violent right wing fringe of America. There is no way in hell by 2012 Americans are going to embrace this bozo. No way! She can strut her rooster feathers all she wants and the American Taliban can have her do so, but they are all committing political suicide! Fun to watch.

Here’s the typical Sarah Palin supporters:

This is who loves this woman. Scary!

Mornin’, Lisa, pups.

Hey, CT, I could use about a kilo of Kona Gold.

I guess one of the requirements to support Palin is to be brain dead. GILF? No, thanks.

Let’s hope Sarah Palin is pushed to the front of the line for 2012, because honestly, Americans need to see the core of the American Taliban once and for all. Her supporters at her rallies will be all the proof we need as a nation to show how this party has become the leader of the domestic terrorists!

I, for one, am looking forward to Caribou Barbie going down in a heap of flames at her own doing.

CTuttle, sometimes we forget about the timezones when we’re talking to each other online. One night I was on the phone with a Texan blogger and I said to her, “It’s dark already up here” and she said, “What time is it there?” and I said, “Around 4pm”. She freaked out. LOL I said, “Ummm, hello! You’re nearer the equator than we are missy! We’re backing away from the sun at the moment! What a ride we’re having!”. ;-)

Palin should remeber what happens to VP nominiees who are picked “to balance the ticket”? Her role model is Joe Lieberman.

The obvious difference is Lieberman’s fan club left the Democratic Party, while Palin’s fans are soon to be the only ones left in the Republican.
