Miss California’s Bigotry: She Foists Loss on Homosexual Agenda

Wow. Miss California needs to STFU. She’s claiming Perez Hilton’s question was the reason she lost.
No, you stupid embarrassment to my state, you lost because your answer was not poised ("opposite marriage"?), and you basically said "in my country…marriage is between a man and a woman." It’s not your country, sweetie. But I bet Rick Warren has a place next to him on the pulpit next Sunday for motivational speaker Miss California.
Even though Pastor Rick lies that he never spoke out against Prop 8, he shares the view marriage is between and man and a woman, and did in fact urge his followers to support Prop 8, which rescinded the rights of millions of Californians. And now his minions are sanitzing his Wikipedia page.
Today on Access Hollywood, Miss California Carrie Prejean (who is rumored to be dating Michael Phelps) spoke to the only palatable member of the Bush family, Billy who co-hosted Sunday night’s competition:
It did cost me my crown. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I said what I feel. I stated an opinion that was true to myself and that’s all I can do. It is a very touchy subject and he [Perez] is a homosexual and I see where he was coming from and I see the audience would’ve wanted me to be more politically correct. But I was raised in a way that you can never compromise your beliefs and your opinions for anything…I feel like I won. I feel like I’m the winner. I really do, Billy.
Possibly because she got 1,000 messages on Facebook and 2,000 friend requests.
Meanwhile the Keith Lewis, the Executive Director of Miss California USA/Teen USA gave this comment to PerezHilton.com:
As co-executive director of Miss CA USA and one of the leaders of the Miss CA family, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss CA USA 2009 believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman. Although I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit, I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone. Religious beliefs have no place in politics in the Miss CA family.

Lots of potential answers available here, with no need for her to delve into her odious personal views, or to mistakenly indict the entire USA for sharing them. Classic pageant error: stray, and you look like Miss Teen South Carolina. (”Such as…”)
I’m glad she lost. She deserved to lose. And if this narrowly defeated her, good.
But Perez needs to not call a contestant a “dumb bitch.” It becomes an unfortunate part of the story and, I hope, guarantees he won’t be invited back.
