I didn’t really see much of the parade because um…as a of left the Mall we kept getting rerouted around street after street, but I did capture this through a fence. It was strong reminder of our military foundation, that this nation was forged out of war. 

I was an accidental tourist yesterday and saw more of DC on foot than I thought possible in four hours of 27 degree weather as I walked from Mall to find a cab back to Kamp Kobe, aka Jane’s Palace of Poodles and Pleasure. I saw the Spureme Court, Library of Congress, the Capitol, and Union Station…Rumor has it there is jacuzzi bath with body soothing salts in my future.
