Bon Jovi Sings for Hillary’s Supper
Hillary Clinton still has a heap of campaign debt from her run for President–about $6.3 million. And while she was selling personalized copies of Dreams Taking Flight for $250 ($50 with just the bookplate), that didn’t seem to help much.
So on January 15, good friend Jon Bon Jovi will be helping out with a $75-$1,000 ticket concert at Manhattan’s Town Hall dubbed "a final evening in support of Hillary Clinton for President Debt Relief." Hillary has already written off $13.1 million in personal loans to the campaign.
She’s got to make a dent in the red ink before she’s confirmed as Secretary of State, since every rose has its thorns–federal ethics rules prohibit Cabinet officials from actively soliciting campaign contributions, even for those in past.
