There were some tense moments in the celeb universe when jossip.com reported that Sean P.Diddy Combs, who campaigned long and hard for Barack Obama, might not be getting tickets for the Inauguration. ZOMG!

But then–stop the presses! P. Diddy  did in fact score four tickets for the Inauguration. His people told TMZ:

Diddy was offered tickets by the Obama inaugural committee because of his work on the campaign trail with Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and Kevin Liles. He never asked for tickets and he was never asked to pay for them.

Well, no one is supposed to pay for them. Tickets are free and distributed by senators and representatives to worthy constituents. 

And Diddy is certainly worthy. Along with making videos for his blog, he stumped in Florida and encouraged people to get out and vote, even taking time out from his birthday celebration to vote.

Diddy says about January 20th:

I am very grateful to be a part of this moment in history. I’ll see ya’ll at the inauguration.
